XC90 Solution finally for ipod and bluetooth Just wanted to share As one person put it to me, you could not have picked a WORSE car to try to retrofit for these things.

Well, my long journey is over I bought a Dension system but was unhappy with how bad the iPod interface would work with the Volvo stereo display Luckily, the day before I got the product shipped to me, I checked out Parrot's site, and their harness the wires and converters that link the Parrot system to your car provider, Quick Connect Products. It turns out they have been testing one in Europe but have yet to have a USA tester. I signed up to be the first. They sent me the harness, and after some gorwing pains they have to resend a new harness with some firmware changes Sponsored Links Remove Advertisements.

Any idea when they are going to sell this unit everywhere? Originally Posted by ddutwin. Which Parrot is this compatible with? I installed a Moto BT in my car, but will gleefully rip it out and replace it with a Parrot plus harness if it works.

Last edited by safetyfirst; at I plug my iPhone 4 into the aux jacks for the RSE with a apple adapter. It also has a USB power plug. I stream Netflix to the video screens for the kids, or I can use it for audio.

Just wanted to share Can you post pictures please. OP just post and ran.. On another note, i am a parrot dealer and i am looking into it.

If there is a quick connect harness that will work with our cars, the parrot will be the "display". Last edited by gshadow; at Originally Posted by gshadow Talked to Howard from quick connect.

So now we can get audio into the car using a Parrot unit. I would get at least the MK unit and really splurge and get the MK full color screen. How it works is, no matter what source you are listening to when a call comes in. The parrot will turn on the fiber optic adapter, and thus allowing the audio to be added into the "system".

Really simple and let me know if i overly complicated it. Unlike the dension unit, this unit is not trying to emulate the cd changer and complicating things by trying to display text on the oem display. The parrot has its own display, which is removable BTW for security comes with a nice little form fitting case too. You simply plug your Ipod into the Parrot and choose the source from the parrot unit and you are on your way.
