Economy mode makes no difference on fuel consumption compared to Sport mode, car rattles like mad in idol and at high speeds. Economic, even though its old, has a lot of trunk space and is quite spacy inside as well. I will never sell it! This by far was the worst. I loved 16V engines until I actually owned one. It burned more oil than gas, smoked like the TDI passat, and it was just a bear to work on.

The interior was somewhat comfy with the leather seats, but the interior trim was cheap and falling apart.
