I would check the number 33 fuse (see diagram below). It could also be the relay for the compressor as well. Also there is a refridgerant.

I don't know what the problem it might be, and how expensive it might be to fix. Maybe it needs to be filled once again. Please let me know if you've exeprienced this problem. You need to service the AC. There is a pressure switch which will not let the AC run is it is over-pressured or under-pressured. How am I supposed to know if it's over or under pressured? I've never even touched the switch. Is it an expensive fix or something that I could possibly do myself?

I'd highly recommend letting a mechanic take care of your problem. I had some guy I trusted tell me the compressor was bad on my previous car so I bought a new used one and some more freon. The problem ended up being a bad fuse which cost a hell of a lot less than everything else. There's a good chance you could misdiagnose and it'll end up costing you more in the end. At least summer is over. What it sounds like is you have a leak. All of your freon has leaked out.

The compressor will not turn on because there is no freon. You can buy freon charge kits but by your responses I would have someone else do it. Originally Posted by Briceybobo. I'll try to post more pics ASAP. Maybe this could've been what caused the problem over time. The nissan service guy at the dealership told me a while ago to get that replaced. I disregarded them and didn't think it needed urgent attention. Yea I don't want to add more freon and have it leak out again, just no point. Let me know what you guys think about it. I never steam cleaned it, imagine how much cleaner it would be. Dang the whole thing, that's what the guy at the dealership told me like a year ago. But I mean, the car is 4 years old, so I would imagine that I'd have to service the freon. What other suggestions might you have for me? I might go to a mechanic that I was referred to today, and see what it may be. Now I'm thinking that the damn quality of the part just simply sucks Damn dealers have pre-rated fee schedules for each particular job though so as I said I took it up the ass pretty deep.

I think I may have found what the problem is. He said the part should take approximately min to install. Originally Posted by altimatelyebony And damn those are some big rotor thingy magigies.
